Outpatient Physical Therapy

NTSOC’s clinical physical therapists are committed to the gross motor development, balance, coordination, and core strengthening of your loved one. Our physical therapists also work to develop positive experiences regarding movement, activity, and recreation. In our clinic, your loved one may walk on a treadmill or lift light weights.

Some of the specific tasks covered include:

  • Developing a home-based exercise and stretching program for parents to incorporate

  • Creating a treatment program

  • Training family members on executing a daily exercise routine

  • Recommending community-based exercise activities, where applicable

Outpatient Occupational Therapy

NTSOC provides clinical occupational therapy services to help your loved ones achieve their personal goals through daily living activities in a clinical environment. They also focus on fine motor skills, stretching, range of motion, eye-hand coordination, sensory processing, and development.

Our occupational therapists possess a comprehensive perspective on your loved one’s needs to help them adapt to their environment. Some of the specific tasks covered include:

  • Establishing goals for improved function

  • Creating a treatment program

  • Assessing your loved one’s functional status

  • Establishing essential techniques to develop independent living

Outpatient Speech Therapy

NTSOC’s clinical speech therapists are committed to providing superior speech-language pathology services. Our speech therapists develop programs to improve communication, speech, swallowing, breathing, and work to foster problem-solving skills.

Often applied with other therapies, speech therapy significantly contributes to stabilization and recovery.

Some of the specific tasks covered include:

  • Creating a treatment program

  • Recommending equipment or devices to aide/augment communications

  • Identifying speech goals and administering a plan to meet those goals
